Our Story
Established in 1986, SPOT was the vision of Margaret Bannister and Shirley Murphy to help those in need within Petitcodiac and surrounding communities.
Back in 1986 the founding ladies could not have envisioned that SPOT would have become the non-profit organization that it is today. This has mainly been due to the generosity of businesses, churches, organizations and individuals that continue to support SPOT - whether by monetary, food items for the food bank or items for the store.
Credit also has to be given to the numerous volunteers and staff that have given their time to work at SPOT over the years.
We would also like to acknowledge those individuals who shop at our store. Without any of the afore mentioned, we would cease to exist.
